Oba AbdulRafiu Mustapha Osuolale Adeitain II, the Onjo Of Okeho, has reacted to the rumour of his death.
The traditional ruler said that he’s not dead, he’s alive, on Monday.
This is coming following a news report by some online media that the monarch has joined his ancestors.
In a live video chat, the monarch admitted he was sick for some time but has long recovered after spending few days at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan.
He said he is now at home and recuperating better.
His words: “Truly, I was sick, and was taken to the University college hospital, Ibadan on the 18th Of July, till the Sunday 24th of July the day that the Aseyin died.
“I didn’t even know that he was also there at the hospital. It was later that I got to know that he died, which I was told on the second day.
“Hence, since I got home I have been treated well by by Doctors and I’ve been responding to treatment.
“I’m hale and hearty, I’m alive and I will live long.”
