Former President of Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo has corrected an interviewer who was referring to him as an Ex-military man. In the video that was released online, Olusegun Obasanjo was seen in a midst of some people talking about his past achievements as a military man.
In the video, the man was seen asking Obasanjo his actions as an ex-military man and Obasanjo immediately corrected him saying that he’s not an ex-military man but a former military man because of the general opinion that once a soldier is forever a soldier, so because he left the military doesn’t mean he doesn’t have that in his blood or mentality again.
In his words, the interviewer was seen commending the former President Olusegun Obasanjo for been a great writer apart from being a man of action, he reminded the former President of numerous letters he has written in the past and Obasanjo jokingly asked if he had written him any letter before and the man joked that he doesn’t pray to receive his letter.
