Nollywood Actor, Kanayo O Kanayo has reacted to the announcement of the 2023 presidential elections results.
Speaking in a video, Kanayo said: “My dear friends, today is my birthday, but I am not celebrating it because INEC sold shame in the market. There is no cause for celebration when the hearts of Nigerians are bleeding. It is not safe to say we are happy”.
Speaking further, Kanayo Said “I am coming on this broadcast because I told everyone that our votes would count and INEC told us that the BVAS machine would transmit our results from the pulling unit to its server. I don’t want to talk about the amount the Federal Government spent on INEC for this election, but the fact of the matter is that Nigerians should be asking Professor Mahmood Yakubu to refund our money”.
Lastly he said, “Today is my 61st birthday and I urge Nigerians to be peaceful but the fact remains we must hold the INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu accountable to Nigerians”
