The lawmaker representing Ibadan south west constituency I at the Oyo state house of assembly, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi Oladeni, son of popular Nigerian fuji maestro Taye Currency, has commissioned not fewer than six boreholes at his constituency to celebrate Nigeria’s independence at 59.
Hon. Adebisi in company of his friend and colleague from Egbeda state constituency, Hon. Olasunkanmi at the commissioning event stated that the whole essence of democracy is to attract physical development that adds real value to the people with whom the ultimate power resides. He made this statement yesterday while commissioning the six boreholes provided by the 1972/1977 set of old pupils association of Abiola Jacobs Basic School, Oke-Foko Ibadan.
It was reported that Taye Currency as an alumni of the same elementary school also passed through the institution some decades ago. The association therefore, deemed it worthy to request Hon. Adebisi to commission the modern boreholes as a show of honour to the Taye Currency family as worthy ambassadors representing Ibadan south west Local government in the music industry and Nigeria’s political landscape in Oyo state, Nigeria, Africa, and the world at large

He thanked the old pupils association for their thoughtfulness and desire to give back to the society that builds them into illustrious and industrious sons and daughters of the area.
