Thugs have just attacked the polling unit where Dino Melaye voted.
The hoodlums broke one of the ballot boxes and carted away the other, shooting into the air.
They came in black hillux van.
Meanwhile, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission and election materials are yet to arrive at the polling units of the former president Goodluck Jonathan and the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Douye Diri.
Jonathan votes at the Ward 13, Unit 39, Otazi Playground in Otueke, Ogbia LGA, where he had earlier gone only to meet the absence of electoral officials.
As of the time of filing this report, Diri is still waiting at his polling unit in Sampou Community.
