The US Embassy in Baghdad has been attacked by 3 rockets at 1:00am Gulf time.
It started out with sirens as explosions were heard going off in Baghdad. The sirens are part of a civil defense system that warns of impending danger
The attack has been confirmed by Spectator Index to its 1.3 million followers on Twitter. Spectator index is focused on politics and has been following the unfolding circumstances.
According to reports there has been no damage at the American embassy. Damage assessment is currently ongoing and I will continue following up
