The Nigerian controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo on Monday said calling her Kem Kem reminds her how her father’s student sexually harassed her because he used to call her that name.
Kemi who was daughter of former civilian Governor in Oyo State and great mathematician, Dr. Omololu Olunloyo added that though she was not raped as conceived by many people but was only molested.
She said: “I was not raped. I was sexually molested as the man touched my vagina. I did not report it to my mom till I was 53yo. The guy was my dad’s student at U.I babysitting us. He died after a car crash in 2006. This is the reason I ignored my relatives who called me Kem Kem growing up”.

She tweeted this to react to Iyabo Ojo, the Nollywood actress for calling her the name after their fight when she came out of prison.
She said: “Iyabo Ojo did a video on this apologizing. Pls don’t call me Kem Kem because it hurts me as the man that sexually molested me at 8yo called me that. Anytime I hear it, it reminds me of that time. Iyabo created that term when she was fighting me after my prison exit.
