An 18-year old lady, simply identified as Eniola, has allegedly died in a hotel in Iwo Road in Ibadan North East Local Government Area of Oyo State.
An eyewitness who wished to remain anonymous informed the newsmen that the deceased, with some of her friends, whose identities are unknown, went to a birthday party in a hotel where she was said to have died.
According to one of the deceased guardians’ statements, she said, “Eniola left home with some of her friends for a birthday party on a Saturday night.
“I still can’t believe she has just passed away like that. I am the only one taking care of her because she is an orphan. ” The Guardian lamented
The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, also reacted to the matter, saying that a thorough investigation is ongoing concerning the case.
