A 36 years old woman identified as Stella Gilbert has been sentence to death by the an Ikeja high court on Tuesday for stabbing her neighbor (Mrs Stella Godwin) to death during a fight at their resident in Ajegunle, Lagos.
It was gathered that Stella Gilbert who was enraged over a misunderstanding that could be settled easily, started a fight with Mrs Stella Godwin but was uncontrollable by neighbors around.
It was reported that her anger had caused her to pick a knife close by and approached the neighbor (Mrs Stella Godwin) in uncontrollable anger, stabbed her to death.
During the scene, neighbors around who saw what she did held her while they try to see if they could revive the stabbed lady but to no avail.
They reportedly called the police who narrated the story to this reporter.
However, the high court of in Ikeja has sentenced her to death after the policemen arrested her and took her custody.
On hearing her death sentence, she collapsed amidst tears from friends, siblings and well wishers.
As she is seen in the pictures, the law enforcement agents dragged her to prison where she is waiting her execution.
