The lady identified as Seyitan Babatayo who accused the Koko master, ‘D’banj‘ of rape has been arrested by the officers of the Nigerian police force.
The lawyer of the lady confirmed this that the arrest took place on the 16th of June 2020 but they are facilitating her bail. The lady accused D’banj of raping her at Glee Hotel, Lagos in 2018.
The arrest followed the recent response by the singer to the allegations.
According to him, the D’banj insisted she must pay for damages and defamation of character worth over 100 million and also tender a public apology.
This has sparked off a lot of debate on social media on why she should be detained by the police without having to hear her in the law court.
