A pastor has been tested positive for COVID-19 after praying for a patient of the novel disease.
This was made known by the River State Governor, Nyesom Wike recently that a pastor tested positive for coronavirus few days after he prayed for a deceased who is a COVID19 patient in River State.
While making effort to contain the pandemic, the river State Governor, Nyesom Wike revealed two children of a deceased COVID19 patient alongside the pastor who was praying for his recovery, have all tested positive for the novel virus in Rivers state.
According report the Governor placed blame on the security operatives who were suppose to be there enforcing border closure.He accused them of receiving gratification to allow people into the state.
Governor Wike further said he’s going to step up the security measures and that the borders would be tightened with the inauguration of a Task Force of on Border Closure comprising of indigenes of River State.
