The new governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde has directed his new Chief of Staff to dissolve the Local Government and Local Council Development Areas authority with immediate effect.
In a release made available to LiveTimes on Wednesday evening, and signed by the new Chief of Staff, Chief Bisi Ilaka, the release added that all Local Government Chairmen are to hand over to their Heads of Local Government Administration (HLA) or the most Senior Directors in their local government areas and councils.
It reads further that “all Boards of Parastatals and corporations be dissolved.
“That embargo be placed on all Local and State Government accounts until further directives”.
