The former Executive Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala has said his administration upgraded Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) to the present enviable position not incumbent Governor Seyi Makinde.
According to him, he contributed immensely to the development of the State owned broadcasting outfit, as he provided it with state of the art equipment, enhanced training of its staff as well as renovated the studios and extended this development to all the sub-stations of the broadcasting outfit namely:-
Ajilete F.M in Ogbomoso, Oke-Ogun F.M in Alaga and also the F.M. Station at Old Ife Road.
Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, in a statement by one of his aides, Prince Tunde Oloyede, said it is rather sad and unfortunate that the incumbent Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde was misinformed and misguided to say that the BCOS never witnessed any development since the exit of his (Alao-Akala’s) immediate predecessor.
