A 27-year-old man, Austin Okonkwo was remanded in prison custody by an Evboriaria Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo State, for allegedly raping an 11-year-old Down Syndrome girl in 2014 was attacked online for saying he enjoys 12,13 or 14 years old girls for s*x.
The man was attacked during comments on a trending Facebook post by a lady who was seeking for advice on how to handle her randy husband whom she caught ‘pounding’ her 12 years old niece one night, after searching for him in their bedroom and other rooms, just to meet him on top of the minor in her own room.
The Man, Okonkwo whose Facebook profile is added below took to the comment section and expressed his disgust at the woman while saying he so much enjoy young girls when they are 12, 13, or 14.
Okonkwo in his words said: “Abeg free the man, must he be climbing only you when there is another food in the house, if I happen to be your husband, I will drive you away from my house, then marry that young girl so that I will pound her everyday. I so much enjoy them when they are 12,13 or 14.
However his comment generated a lot of heat as people went as far as to screenshot his profile while laying numerous curses on him, calling on law enforcement agents to bring him in for questioning because he might have destroyed the destinies of many girl children.
The man, Okonkwo who was accused in 2014 for rape was described with unprintable words when his victim was presented in the court, pleaded not guilty to the one-count charge preferred against him, The Vanguard reported in 2014.
Police Prosecutor, Aigbedion Obakpolor, informed the court that the offence was committed on November 29.
When the case was mentioned, Chief Magistrate Frank Idiake, who refused the bail application, said rape cases were on the increase.
A relative of the victim, who pleaded anonymity after the court sitting, said the accused took the girl to his room where the act was committed.
The relative said the victim cried of pains in her private part, which led to the arrest of the accused.
The case was adjourned to January 21, 2015 for continuation of trial.
It seemed the accused have been released, a reason he came online in 2020 to openly revealed himself as paedophile.
