Tragedy struck in Marakwet county as a man was arrested after he ruthlessly killed his wife. According to reports, the man killed his wife by stabbing on the stomach and chest.
Unfortunately the wife, 23, died on the spot. On the other side, the wife’s lover managed to escape. The police officers are tracking the lover, Dan Mwangi, to have his statement.
According to Tom Makati, Keiyo North sub county police commissioner, the man killed the wife in Kapsho estate, Iten. This place is about 350 kilometres from the man’s matrimonial home.
To arrive in Iten, the police officers suspect that the man was directed by his neighbours. So far the police officers have started their investigations. The deceased has been moved to Iten county referral hospital, for post mortem.
