A 40- year- old man from Guruve is in trouble after striking his wife with a hoe three times above her right eye for catching her red-handed with her secret boyfriend along a riverside having s*x in an open bush.
Central police spokesperson, Inspector Nelson Damingo said they have launched a hunt for Clyton Lodonoo a 40-year-old murderer from Inkunor Village for the murder of his wife, Isabella Lodonoo, who he caught red-handed having s£x with another man along a river.
The incident happened on Saturday 3rd july at around 11am.
“Isabella was at Mukura River with her secret boyfriend, Moses Ackman, a 27-year-old man doing the unexpected which didn’t go on well for them as the husband of Isabella spotted them from a distance and approached them with a hoe. And in anger, he stroked Isabella dead.
“He tried to hit Mosses with the hoe and missed. Mosses fled, leaving Isabella behind. Clayton struck her three times above the right eye with the hoe and fled, leaving her lying in a pool of blood.”
Mosses, Isabella’s boyfriend who managed to escape later returned took Isabella to her relatives.
She sustained deep cuts and was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.
Insp Ndliwayo appealed for information on the whereabouts of Cyton Domingo and urged people not to take the law into their own hands.
