A community leader in Ibadan and Head of Iba Oluyole compound, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi has adopted an Igbo woman who came to Ibadan to search for her biological father.
In a video, a tricycle rider otherwise known as Keke napep brought the fair complexion woman with yoruba tribal mark to the family house of the community leader, Alhaji Akanbi.
According to the Keke napep rider, the woman arrived from ijebu Ode and asked him to take her to Oja Oba, a community area in Ibadan, where she tended to make inquiry about the missing link of her life.
In the video, the community leader, Mr Nureini Akanbi said he was standing outside when the woman alighted from the tricycle, he even challenged the rider for parking in a restricted area but he apologized and said to him that, he brought a woman who wants to see him. Then, Mr Akanbi asked them to come in.
Alhaji Akanbi greeted the woman in Yoruba language due to the tribal mark she has on her face but the woman never understands neither speak Yoruba language.
The woman who gave her name as Vivian Omeh later expressed her self in English Language and explained her reasons for coming to ibadan.
In her words:
“I am already due to settle. It’s not that men doesn’t ask for my hand in marriage in life”
“Even rich men are coming, poor people never come my way but they end up asking; is it Yoruba am even dating or an igbo woman, because I don’t even understand Yoruba.”
“At a stage, I tried looking for a Yoruba man, but when I come across them, they will say “No” I can’t marry my sister” because I don’t know if you are from my family with this your tribal mark”. She added.
“Then my pastor asked me to go look for my biological father who laid curse on me after my mother departed from him”.
Vivian also revealed that her late mother from Enugu took her away from her father and since then he has never set her eyes on him.
Her father is said to be a Yoruba man and also a soldier whose name is Balogun.
Having explained her ordeals, she threatened to commit suicide on her birthday if she doesn’t sees her father.
Alhaji Akanbi has thereby instructed his lawyer and vowed to abduct her till any one comes to claim her.
