…says more pronounced insulgency, criminalties will happen in South West
A cleric, Rev. Paul Tioluwani, aka Lesekese, who doubles as President of Bibleway Crusaders church international and Care People Foundation, has warned that Nigeria may become a derailed ship without an active sailor where all sorts of negativities would thrive should government fail to heed good advice and change tactics from the usual retrogressive and unproductive ways in 2021.
Tioluwani also urged that Nigerian people and government must be prayerful and return to God in all ways to avoid the tragedies he foresaw would happen this year.
The cleric, who had predicted the woes that happened in 2020, warned that year 2021 may become worse than 2020 in terms of incidences of criminalties, kidnappings, and insulgents’ activities. He said he foresaw the foregoing evils, which hitherto characterized the north, becoming prevalent in the Southern part of the country in 2021.
Rev. Tioluwani who was former Special Adviser on Disabilities and Welfare to ex-Oyo State governor, late Lam Adesina, told newsmen in Lagos at the weekend that these evils will thrive because God is angry with Nigeria as the wanton shedding of innocent bloods have not been adequately punished by the authorities. He gave other revelations for the new year.
He said: ‘Year 2021 will be more terrible than 2020, sorry to say that but that is how it will be . Things are going to go beyond control. It will be like when the sailor just leave the stormy ship to chance, something like that will happen in Nigeria because the economic problems that will rise will defy all kinds of solutions. Insulgents’ activities, criminalities and banditry will be more pronounced in the South West as against the north where it had been happening before this year.
The economy will go into a state of total comatose, If the Government is not careful, a lot of people will begin to challenge this Government, if they don’t manage it very well, they will lose more support even from the global comity of nations.
” You know why these will be happening it is because God is angry with Nigeria because a lot of blood is being shed and nobody is being made to account for it. I am yet to see herdsmen or Boko Haram being brought to book with all their atrocities. There is something called policy simaersault. What I mean by that is that policies being made are making us to retrogress.
” When there is no provision for discipline, it is a recipe for anachy, imagine a school without an examination. Blood is being shed and no one is doing something about it but the blood of the innocent being killed are crying for vegeance.
“While urging government to drop the idea of alleged persecution of faith based organisations such as the church and mosques in the guise of introducing and implementing the CAMA policy, the cleric charged government to face proper governance and ensure that it delivers good governance for Nigerians.
His words: ” The church or the mosque isn’t Nigeria’s problem. Government is bringing CAMA, and making us account for the money they haven’t given us and want to start treating us like we are companies. In advanced counties where government is taxing the church, in England and America , the government give grants to churches and they also give tax returns. If you give money to churches there, Government finds a way to compensate you.
We should face the problems of Nigeria, i.e kidnapping, corrupt government officials, insulgency and the likes. I am yet to hear anything about top Government officials such as Senators , Representatives, governors etc cutting their salaries so they can use that to help our economy. I believe leaders should lead by example, but you are calling on the masses to support government when you haven’t done anything yourself.
‘Giving further prophecies, he said: “Churches will be heavily persecuted this year and some men of God will be killed. A lot of people will lose their acquired properties because there will be pronounced criminality. People will be busy stealing and robbing and nothing will be done against it. All these will be done with impunty. But if Nigerians can pray fervently this year, there will be a divine intervention for Nigeria. All these tragedies that I am talking about, will not happen to those who are truly born again but to those who haven’t accepted Jesus and careless Christians. When they shall say there is going to be a casting down, we will say there is a lifting up. So, those who want to escape all these calamities, should give their lives to Christ. True christians will be blessed. Our leaders should be more God-fearing.
Re. Tioluwani also cautioned government against attacking faith based organisations because some of them have Universities and other business interests they run. He argued that universities managed by churches give the best standard of education in the country.
” A man of God is only responsible to God. You cannot fire who you did not hire. I haven’t built a university nor bought a plane, it is he that wears the shoes that knows where it pitches. We have a secondary school and a primary school here but hardly do you find half of the kids there pay fees. We also have an NGO where we take care of the disabled, orphans and fatherless children and others. But as for varsities being managed by churches, the question to ask is what standard of education do they give? Go to Babcok, you will give glory to God, go to Convenant University, Redeemers and other varsities being managed by churches, you will get the best from them. ASUU now has been on strike for almost a year and the students in public universities have lost a session but students in the churches’ varsities have not lost any year, ” he said.
Rev. Tiloluwani also urged the President to consider overhauling his security personnel so as to allow positive results this year.
