Popular Instagram comedian, Wolii 3310, has apologized to his fans who dragged him after using sermon of renowned Islamic preacher, Sheik Muyihdeen Bello, for comedy in one of his skits on his Instagram page.
3310, who took to his Instagram page on Monday said he is begging for forgiveness from his fans who took offence in the skit. He said some of his fans read a different meaning to it, hence the reason for him seeking forgiveness. The comedian said he doesn’t have the intention to spoil the reputation of the Islamic cleric.
However, his fans have reacted to the post. Some opined that nothing was wrong with the skit as it promotes the cleric the more. Some said they don’t expect any negative reactions to the skits because he has been using some religious clerics for his skits on social media.
Wolii 3310 is a popular Instagram comedian. He usually makes his skits by putting a call through to personalities. Sheik Muyideen Bello is one of the popular Islamic clerics in Nigeria.
