Dear Nigerian Muslims,
Assalamu Alaikum!
On this joyous occasion of the beginning of a new Muslim Lunar Calendar year, Hijrah 1445, I extend my warmest congratulations to all of you. May the blessings of Allah be upon you as you embark on this new Islamic year, filled with opportunities for growth, spiritual reflection, and positive changes in your lives.
Hijrah, the migration of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Mecca to Medina, is a significant event in Islamic history. It symbolizes the strength of faith, resilience, and the pursuit of a better life for the sake of Allah. As we commemorate this auspicious occasion, let us reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and strive to embody his virtues of compassion, kindness, and justice in our daily lives.
In the same spirit of unity and understanding, I urge all of you, my fellow Muslims, to come together and support our newly sworn-in president. His responsibility is immense, and his path to reforming and improving the economy and standard of living for all citizens will undoubtedly be challenging.
Let us remain patient and steadfast during this period of change. Patience is a virtue cherished in Islam, and as we exercise it, we pave the way for a better future for ourselves and our beloved nation. Remember, progress takes time, and with unity and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacles that come our way.
Furthermore, as believers, let us not forget the power of prayers. It is our duty to pray for the success and peaceful tenure of our new government. May Allah guide our leaders with wisdom, compassion, and the will to serve the people selflessly. Let us ask for divine blessings to bring prosperity and harmony to our nation and its citizens.
In conclusion, let us use this auspicious occasion of Hijrah to strengthen our faith, deepen our understanding of Islam, and cultivate a society built on love, tolerance, and unity. Together, as a united Muslim community, we can make a positive impact and contribute to the growth and development of our beloved Nigeria.
Once again, congratulations to all Nigerian Muslims on witnessing the beginning of the new Islamic year. May it be a year of blessings, growth, and fulfillment.
Wassalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
