An upcoming gospel singer, Adefolake Odejimi, popularly christened ‘Soyesings’, has said that her newly released songs will inspire men to draw much closer to God so that they could recover their divine glory and mandate which were originally destined for them by the heavens.
The Ogun state born artiste’s new release is entitled ‘Arole’ in Yoruba tongue, and translates in English to mean ‘Heir to the heavenly Throne’. It was released by Saint Square Records.
She featured the popular Yoruba gospel dramatist, Woli Arole in the video version of the album in order to further enhance its thrilling value.
Explaining the concept of the songs, the young gospel singer said: “Arole is a Yoruba word that means heir to the throne. Every child of God, particularly the men, are heirs to the heavenly Throne of the Almighty. But many are not functioning in that grace because they are unaware of their inheritance.
My song is a divine mandate to help men return to the heavenly status quo; Seeing yourself as God sees you and standing against any opposition or life jabs the devil throws at us. As devoted Christians, we are called royal priesthoods, and a peculiar people according to the Bible in 1st Peter 2;9.
” So, this song is a call to all men, young and old, to return to the heavenly mandated battle of life against wordly standards and emerge as Victors not as Victims!,” she said.
Soyesings has shared the stage with Peterson Okopi, olayinka alaseyori and other top gospel artistes in Nigeria, to mention a few.
