Governor Seyi Makinde today ordered the re-opening of the overhead bridge at the state secretariat.
Also, he renamed the bridge, ‘Freedom Bridge’. The bridge, built by the military administration of Gen. David Jemibewon, was closed by former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Makinde who made this known during first official broadcast at his inauguration at the Liberty Stadium in 2011. Makinde also abolished the N3,000 paid by students in the states’ secondary and primary owned schools.
