The Oyo State Government has announced the commencement of the Nigerian Army Recruitment Exercise for the 90 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for trades and non-trades men and women, calling on qualified indigenes of the state to take advantage of the opportunity.
According to a public service announcement signed by the Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo, the online application process began on September 29, 2025, and will close on November 14, 2025.
The statement emphasized that the application form is completely free and can be accessed via the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
“All applications will be screened, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for a physical screening exercise at the State Recruitment Centre located at Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ojoo, Odogbo, Ibadan,” the announcement stated.
Professor Adeyemo advised interested male and female applicants of Oyo State origin to obtain their Oyo State Indigeneship Certificate at Room 53, Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, or at the Oyo State Liaison Offices in Abuja and Lagos, to confirm their eligibility.
She also appealed to residents and community leaders to help disseminate the information widely so that qualified indigenes of the state do not miss the recruitment opportunity.
The recruitment exercise, which is part of the Nigerian Army’s continuous effort to strengthen its manpower for national security and development, will accommodate both tradesmen and non-tradesmen, as well as female applicants.
