From Taiwo Oluwadare, IbadanThe General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Abiara on Thursday said the Nigerian christian leaders don’t hate the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan saying but they want the president-elect, General Mohammadu Buhari as who can bring about Peace that Nigerians desire.
The man of God said this during an inauguration of a new General Superintendent of the church, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele on Thursday at All Saints’ Chapel, CAC general secretariat in Ibadan.
According to him, we thank God almighty because people have been saying all sort of evil things that may happen during and after just concluded general elections but to God be the glory, none of this came to pass.
“I prophesized then that there would not be any problem before, during and after the general election and thank God that it came to pass”, he stated.
Prophet Abiara maintained that the president elect embodies peace meaning everything is going to be okay.
Speaking on some Christian leaders preference for Buhari over Jonathan, he said: “The Christian leaders are not partisan but consider peace as paramount as our concern is about who will engender security of lives and properties. Therefore, we don’t care whether Christian or muslim becomes our president but who will make peace that people desire”.
Prophet Abiara therefore congratulated the celebrant, Pastor Oladele on his inauguration as the General Superintendent of the great commission.
Also the president of CAC, Pastor Abraham Akinosun described the installment of pastor Oladele as a fulfilment of God’s promise.
According to him, after long Barrenness of Pastor Oladele’s mother, just like Hannah dedicated biblical Samuel to God, she dedicated her son to God’s service, a reason he said his instalment is a fulfilment of God’s promise.
