A Nigerian lady identified as Jumoke Kehinde who resides in Akure has reportedly committed suicide in her apartment at Kajola area of Akure, after she got suspended for resuming late to work.
Jumoke Kehinde, a 23 year old lady was found lying lifeless in her room. She used to worked at a shopping mall in Akure and a manager who works in the organization confirmed the incident.
He said Jumoke Kehinde was suspended with some of her colleagues for coming to work late but never knew that Jumoke Kehinde will resort to committing suicide as a result.
One of Jumoke Kehinde’s colleague disclosed that she called her mum after being suspended from work and her mum tried to calm her down, but after a while the mum was unable to connect to her on phone again.
Her mum asked someone else who lived in the same neighborhood with her to check up on her. When the person got to her house she was lying on the floor in pains and their was smell of insecticide in the room. She was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
