One person has been killed and four others arrested in a failed robbery attack on First Bank, Mpappe, Abuja on Saturday.
The robbery attempt, which started at about 10:00am was fostered by a bank staff, who acted as an insider for the robbers.
However, the robbery attacked was foiled by men of Nigerian Police Force, Abuja, Nigerian Army and Men of Department of State Security.
According to the Police PRO in Abuja, normalcy has since returned to the area as one suspect was shot in an escape attempt, while four others were arrested.
