Barrister Femi Banjo, a Stakeholder and Chieftain of All Progressive Party APC, in Aiyekire local government, Ekiti State applaud Ekiti State governor, Abiodun Oyebanji on his fantastic achievement in Ekiti within one year in office.
In a phone conversations with this online media on Sunday, Banjo commended the Governor on how he has been able to run the affairs of the state effectively. He scored the Governor high on infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, security and regular payment of salaries, gratuities of both state and local government workers.
He said, he is so glad that a position opened up for Mr Governor and he has made them proud. “His dedication, enthusiasm and insight are really inspiring. His performance has silenced the opposition and pessimists in the state and he has been able to manage the affairs of the state excellently.
“He always goes for the impossible thing to make it possible and he takes each target as his aim. Part of these achievements are; Completion of Ado-Ekiti Central Bus Terminal, the Ekiti Council of Traditional Rulers’ Chamber, ten Secondary Health Facilities, major street lights, re-connection of Ekiti East, Aiyekire and some parts of Ekiti West and Ikole Local Government areas to the national grid after many years of darkness. New projects such as the rehabilitation of many roads in Ado-Ekiti, continuing with the Ikole township road, rehabilitating the Ilawe-Igede, Ado-Ilawe roads, Ikere-Ilawe, and Erijiyan-Ilawe roads. Reconstruction of Igbara-Odo-Ikogosi road among others”, he stated.
He thanked the Governor for his intervention in ensuring the restoration of power to Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort after so many years, which is one of the factors that resulted in the successful revamp of the flagship tourism asset in the state.
Barr Femi said further, “he would like him to know that he is such a good example because he has shown us that being diligent and passionate to work is very important in achieving dreams. From the start of his administration, we were confident enough that he would perform excellently in Governing Ekiti State.
“No matter how big a crowd may be, a person like him always stands out! There’s no one who has worked as hard as he has in the past years. Now his efforts have paid off.
Barr Femi charge the people of the state, in respective of their Political party to always pray and support Governor Abiodun Oyebanji positively for more achievements because some have been given the opportunity like this, while they ended up with nothing, not only that, but also drained Ekiti treasury. He prays that he shall achieve more successes in the coming days and years.
“The state has witnessed more progress and development in the last one year under BAO’s administration. In area of infrastructure, education, health, agriculture and security, the Governor should be given kudos. We are proud of him. We are proud of his political maturity and dexterity which has helped in creating a peaceful political atmosphere in the state” he added.
