The Governing Council Chairman for Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (Igboora) , Prof. Lateef Sanni was among distinguished sons of Yoruba honoured during the Omoluabi Royal Icon Award held in Ife at the weekend.
Prof. Sanni was honoured as Aare Atunluse Oodua.
According to the global President of Yoruba Council World Wide, Barr. Akanni Oladotun Hassan, the award was in recognition of Prof. Sanni’s character, integrity, worth, hardwork and monumental contributions towards the development of Yoruba cultural heritage and value.
Meanwhile, the acting rector, Mr. Olaniyi Adekunle, entire management team and staff of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology,Igboora have felicitated with Prof. Lateef Sanni on the conferment of Aare Atunluse title on him.
They described Prof. Sanni as a notable son of Yoruba who deserves such a honour.
