Three suspected Informants to notorious Kidnap kingpin, Sani Tukur, also known as Abacha have been arrested by the Operatives of the police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) in Katsina State.
According to Channels Television, the suspects; Muttaka Ibrahim, Suleiman Rabiu and Surajo were apprehended following an intelligent gathering information on the activities of the deadly criminal gangs. The suspects are said to be arrested at their various hideouts within Bakori Local Government Area.
The suspects have confessed to the police in the course of interrogations that they facilitated the abduction of the wife and 2 children of a serving lawmaker Hon. Ibrahim Aminu and several other victims.
According to the chief informant, Muttaka Ibrahim they were given 130,000 naira from the gang leader after he collected 21 Million Naira from the victims.
He went further to confess that the bandit leader collected a total of six million five hundred thousand naira from the other victims they abducted at Yankwani area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a statement on Monday in Abuja disclosed that the suspects will be charged to court after conclusion of the investigations.
