As the March 11 Governorship Election is fast approaching, it has been reiterated that there is no iota of truth that the Governorship Candidate of the Accord Party will step down for any candidate. However, Adelabu is opened to negotiation with any politician who wishes to support his Governorship ambition.
The Assistant Director of his Media Campaign Council for Bayo Adelabu, Comrade Femi Awogboro said that the Accord Party Governorship candidate is confident of victory come March 11.
According to him, Chief Bayo Adelabu has good template to revamp, restore and transform the State for better. He is ready to reposition Oyo State for economic development and strategic leadership that the Pace Setter State needed at this time.
” Our attention has been drawn to rumour going round that my Principal, the Accord Governorship Candidate, Chief Bayo Adelabu want to negotiate his ambition with another governorship candidate. Such rumour emanates from the pit of hell and it is a blatant lie. I am categorically telling the good people of Oyo State that Accord is fully ready to partake in the exercise and have the backing of the electorate to become next Governor of Oyo State”, Femi Awogboro stated.
” I urged our teeming supporters and the media to disregard such rumour.The outcome of the Presidential and National Assembly election is different from the Governorship and State House of Assembly election. We have the majority support of the people and God on our side to win the March 11 Governorship election in Oyo State.” Awogboro added.
He urged the good people of Oyo State to continue to support the Accord Governorship candidate, Adebayo Adelabu so that the state can move from poverty to prosperity.
