Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, at a radio interview organised to mark his first 30 days in office on Saturday revealed that the state’s debt profile is currently N150 billion.
According to him, the debt includes both foreign and domestic debts.
He said his administration is still looking into the state’s accounts and has found out that some of the purposes for which the debts were incurred are questionable. He said his government will look into those deals and ensure that those who have questions to answer do so.
