Former Deputy Governor and PDP Chieftain in Oyo State, His Excellecy Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of New Year and urge them to imbible the spirit of tolerance, understanding, hard work,and sincerity in all their dealings
In a press releases by his spokesman, Olaniyi Steven in Ibadan, Gbolarumi asked Nigerians to see 2021 as a year of blessing and one full with bountiful opportunities for the country, while congratulated Nigerians for entering yet another year, a year he said calls for prayers for the nation.
He equally urged for prayers for the nation to overcome its current security challenges, disclosing that the nation would only attain its full potentials in an environment that is peaceful.
Gbolarumi appealed to politicians to play by the rules of the game, cautioned against provocative utterances and to eschew violence, stating that the nation and not personal interest should come first in the minds of Nigerians.
He felicitated with Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for the purposed and focused driven leadership the state has experienced within the short period he assumed office, and prayed God to grant him the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to continue to pilot the affairs of the state to the desired destination,and urged the youths to embark on meaningful ventures to enable them contribute their quota for the development of the state.
Gbolarumi lauded citizens of the state for their support, patience and show of understanding to Engr Seyi Makinde led administration, he solicited more of such support, urged the people of Oyo state to be watchful, and to remain vigilant at all times especially in view of the need for citizens to be security conscious.
He prayed for a prosperous 2021 for the nation nigeria,Oyo State in particular, maintaining that he is optimistic that the country and the state would attain its full potentials to meet the yearning and aspirations of the people.
Gbolarumi urges the people of the state to continue to support and pray for the success of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde,
irrespective of their religion and political affiliations, and to use this period to pray for Nigeria in order to overcome the current insecurity and economic challenges bewildered the country.
