The Oyo State former Deputy Governor and legal practitioner, Alh. Hazeem Gbolarumi has congratulated Justice Moshood Abass over his new position as President of the Customary Court of Appeal in the state.
The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde recently swore in 10 commissioners including Justice Moshood Abass as new President of the Customary Court of Appeal.
Justice Moshood Abass succeeds Justice Aderonke Aderemi who retired from the active service.
Justice Moshood Abass’ nomination sequel to his recommendation to the National Judicial Council, NJC by the Oyo State Judicial Service Commission according to Gov. Seyi Makinde.
In his congratulatory message personally signed by him and made available to LiveTimesNG in Ibadan, Gbolarumi described Justice Moshood as an intellectual judge whose professional potential is enormous.
He wrote: “Your work is an exemplary vocation at any stage of the quality implementation of the act of justice, reflecting on the search for solutions that contribute to the modernization and reform of justice sector.
“I express my deep gratitude and appreciation to the National Judicial Council, NJC by the Oyo State Judicial Service Commission who made your new position possible.
“I urge you to pursue your profession with great dedication, professionalism and responsibility. I wish you strength to ensure the observance of the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as the safety and confidence of citizens in a quality act of justice, the purpose of your legal work”, Gbolarumi stated.
