Reacting to the crisis rocking Local Government administration in Oyo State, a man has berated the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde saying he should stop to be revered as Angel.
The man who spoke on condition of anonymity on Radio programme, Freshly Pressed by Tope Edward said there are damning evidence to show that the governor is like other politicians in the country.
He referred to what happened during the Kogi governorship election saying those that followed him there probably to cause trouble shows the governor is not an angel as believed in many quarters in the state.
People of Oyo State have since showering accolades on the governor especially as the local government crisis ensues.
The man said: “I just want to be straight forward and I want to be anonymous. The way you’re you’re treating Mr. Seyi Makinde, I don’t like it at all. All these politicians are the same. There are thugs in the state that have been jailed about six years ago but were released by the governor after he assumed office.
“The way you’re handling him is as if, he is an Angel. When he went to Kogi election, who followed him, were they professors? The way you’re exonerating him is not good”, the man stated out of anger.
Meanwhile, callers after him were condemning him believing that he is working with the opposition party to win people’s sympathy for APC opposition party in the state.
