The House of Representative candidate in Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency under the All Progressive Congress (APC), Engr. Aderemi Oseni on Wednesday promised members of his constituency a good representation if voted for.
Oseni stated this during flag off campaign and inauguration of his campaign council ahead of 2023 general elections.
According to him, there are glaring facts that Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency has been poorly represented in the past 8 years which has led to no major impact in the Constituency.
Quoting from a Greek political philosopher, Plato, Oseni said: “One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by fools or inferiors”.
Also quoting from the words of Martin Luther King Jr., he said: “There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right”.
Oseni who is popularly called ‘pastor’ noted that as a man of God, a leader, a lover of progress, he will not embark on any act that is visionless, divisive, a promise-breaker, or non-performer.
He said: “I am on a mission to rescue and rebuild, a reason I am asking for the letter (your overwhelming votes) from all the good people of Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency, our revered royal fathers in the constituency, the community business leaders, the market men and women, the elites in the academia, the professionals, the students, the religious leaders, and the youths at large to vote and give your mandate (to me) to go and rebuild, to eradicate poverty, create wealth, confront bad representations, and fight for the right of both the young and old, male and female in my constituency.
“It is time for us to take back the glory of Ibarapa East/Ido federal constituency! It is time for recovery! It is time for re-engineering! It is time to build enduring infrastructural legacies instead of painting dilapidating schools. It is time to stop misappropriations and outright stealing of our collective resources. It is time to stop incompetent leaders”, he said.
Oseni therefore list 7 point agenda which border on: Massive empowerment for youths, women and the aged; sponsoring life impacting & good legislations; infrastructural and industrial development (Soludero Projects; security and constitutional reforms; better education for all programme; welfare and community development projects and eradicating poverty through agricultural revolution and development of agripreneural value chain for wealth creation programme.
He revealed that a team of visionary and highly intellectual people have been inaugurated which is led by former Commissioner for Education in Oyo State, Prof. Joseph Adeniyi Olowofela to lead campaign programme and ensure seamless, clear, and undisputable election victory in the forthcoming presidential and National Assembly elections.

Described Oseni as a man of God, a man with milk of kindness, whose political campaign is saddled with evangelism and who preaches liberation from poverty to wealth.
He added that Oseni is not only campaigning for himself as House of Representative candidate but to vigorously campaign for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as President of Nigeria and others contesting under the platform of APC in Oyo State.
