The death of Mr. Josiah Agboaje Ajayi, the former acting Bursar for Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora has been announced.
Until his death, Mr. Josiah Ajayi was a deputy Bursar who served in acting capacity between April 1, 2016 and July 9, 2017. He also acted as officer in charge of bursary between 2011 and 2014.
Mr. Ajayi was aged 60.
The late Mr. Ajayi joined the services of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora in April 2008.
Meanwhile, the management and staff of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora have joined other family and friends to mourn the demise of one of its deputy Bursars and a former acting Bursar for the College, Mr. Josiah Ajayi.
Mr. Josiah Ajayi passed on at the early hours of Monday, January 27, 2020.
Reacting to the news of his death, the acting Rector, Mr. Isiaka Adekunle described it as a great loss to the institution.
Also in his reaction, the institution Bursar, Alhaji Sarafa Agbogun explained that he received the news of Mr. Ajayi’s demise as a rude shock.
Alhaji Agbogun extolled the uncommon dedication and commitment of Mr. Ajayi to duty as some of his outstanding qualities that would be greatly missed.
He prayed God to comfort the friends, family and the entire College community.
A College delegation has visited his family in order to commiserate with them.
