Fear has reportedly gripped Governor Nyesom Wike’s camp in Rivers State as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, divides Rivers State after strengthening faction formed from the political party in the state.
This development followed the protracted feud between Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State which ensued after the party’s presidential primary election.
According to feelers from the state, Atiku’s camp in Rivers State is as strong as the PDP in Sokoto State.
It was gathered that the Atiku’s camp in Rivers State is led by Hon. Farah Dagogo, Rt Hon Austin Opara former Deputy Speaker House of Reps , Sen lee maeba, Chief Abiye Sekibo, former Minister for Transportation, Sen George Sekibo, Sen Betty Apiafi, 7 Serving Reps members, 10 serving State Assembly members, 5 former Commissioners, and many other stakeholders who have cheered up the Atiku,’s project in Rivers State.
Information reaching LiveTimesNG revealed that committees have been formed for the preparation and receiving of Atiku in Rivers State by the Rivers PDP members.
