A corps member, Saheed Olakunle who was posted to Nsit ibom, in Akwa Ibom state has been reportedly run mad after allegedly flogged a student in class for not participating properly in his mathematics class.
As reported by his colleagues at the Cooper’s Lodge, it was gathered that he started acting strange after woken up from his siesta, passing about his room and speaking gibberish.
His roommate was reportedly be the first to call the attention of other members, after they restricted his movements, he ran away but was later caught up with.
The source gathered that, this was as a result of a diabolic action by the student he flogged in school, unfortunately the kid hasn’t been to school for a couple of days now.
Similar cases are being reported in Osun State where some students armed themselves with dangerous charms (juju) to be applied on teachers known to be disciplinarian. This unfathomable trend need to be critically looked into and redress.
