Ibadan Popular Radio Presenter Alhaji Oriyomi Hamsat name was mentioned Monday at the Oyo State Police Command Eleyele Ibadan during an interview session where journalists had interview with the father of the abducted twins, Sheik Taofeek Akeugbagold.
Although Alhaji Hamsat Oriyomi was also at Police Command too but he was seen in the morning before the briefing and during the briefing, this reporter said to him that Alhaji you are here just because of the exclusiveness of this Story and he jokingly replied yes, and he left before the arrival of Akeugbagold. According to Akeugbagold, the State P.P.R.O told him personally that he was invited for the briefing that was slated for ten, so that journalists can hear his side of the story. He came a bit late after the briefing, but when journalists eventually engaged him, he said those who masterminds the abduction of his twins were his casual workers that he hired to handle his social media accounts for him and they were introduced to him by Alhaji Oriyomi Hamsat.
But the ace broadcaster also have this to say as regards the issue on ground, this were what he said below:

Akeugbagold said “I do give them 2k on daily basis after they might have break their fasting with me, I will give OPEYEMI 2k and his second 1k, and it’s never part of the initial agreement of 50k on monthly basis…”I love and respect Opeyemi much because of his advice he used to offered me when we’re discussing, we at times eat in same plates, my twins are very close to him and I think that is why he finds it more easier to abduct them for a whole week, I’m so disappointed and still find it hard to believe that he could do such a thing to me and my household…He said the studio charge for the period of Ramadan Is Hundred Thousand Naira, I have paid, so that our viewers can have access to us through social media, he also told me that the total package of all the streamline on different social media handles is 200k I have paid part of the money, I’m still intend to pay the rest very soon before this issue comes up ….
