It was all wails and cries as a truck conveying bags of cement crushed students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba to death in Ondo state.
According to reports, this is the 7th accident occuring on that same road in two months.
The accident occured around 6pm on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
Eye witness reported that the truck lost control and crashed into several shops by the roadside close to the entrance of the school, thereby affecting students as well as traders close to the location. .
Reports say rescue operation was ongoing as at press time, as many people are said to be trapped under woods and cement.
The number of casualties involved in the tragic accident was yet to be ascertained, as the time of filing this report.
