The Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson, otherwise known as Buju (BNXN) is reportedly a recent victim of police brutality.
In a video which went viral, the singer could be seen in a faceoff with men of the Nigeria Police force in an undisclosed location.
The video recorded by a passerby shows the moment a black Mercedes Benz with deflated tyres said to be the singer’s vehicle was double-crossed by a police vehicle. A perturbed Buju was recorded shirtless while engaging the officers who’d stopped him for a yet-to be-reported reason.
The singer in the heat of the moment confirmed the news in a now-deleted tweet. According to him, he spat on a police officer’s face after he’d let him into his vehicle.
