The popular Ibadan, Oyo State Islamic cleric, Sheik Taofeek Akeugbagold has lent his voice to react to s£xtape of Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage.
The popular singer has been embroiled in an embarrassing s£x scandal following the release of her s£xtape by the blackmailers.
While some are blaming her for not paying the blackmailers, the Islamic cleric has rather commended her for taking the right and commendable decision.
The Clerc while speaking as an anchor of a program on Fresh FM, “Egbani- Elaja”, he said Tiwa Savage’s stance of not paying the blackmailers will give courage to others going through similar travail and will probably stop the menace.
He said: “Sometimes when you’re told to fear the wicked, it’s good to do so, but when you’re pushed to the wall, it’s better to face the face wicked. But apply wisdom.
“The issue presently trending on social media is Tiwa Savage Se£tape. Some are blaming her for not paying the blackmailers to avert the embarrassment.
“Blackmailing is the present trending illicit business and the best way to tackle it, is how Tiwa Savage has handled the matter.
“All sensible persons suppose to support Tiwa Savage to overcome the travail and the present trending menace of blackmailing”, the cleric says.
