A Yoruba Nollywood actress, Victoria Ajibola popularly known as ‘Omo local’ has been captured on tape venting inside a bank over a transaction on her account which was not carried out by her.
The actress expressed rage in the banking hall while lamenting over how over N1 million was allegedly withdrawn from her account.
Omo Local recorded herself calling out the bank and its staff for failing to help her reverse the transaction.
According to her, the maximum amount she transacts with on her account is N150,000 per day, but over 1 million Naira was withdrawn from her account using Opay.
She said bank explained that nothing can be done about it because it has to receive directive from the head office.
However, the movie star took to her social media page on Friday to mention the name of the bank and lay her grievances where she explained that the sum of N250k was first debited until it got to the tune of N1.4M.
According to her, she was at a movie location when she started receiving the alert and all efforts made by her colleagues to get in contact with the customary care service of the bank proved abortive.
She explained further that she was able to get to a nearby UBA bank and her complaints were left unattended to while her money was still being deducted.
Omo Local also stated that the officials at the bank revealed that there was nothing they could do about it.
It was until she started crying and creating a scene in the bank before her account was blocked.
After this, she went to Opay office to lay a complain, cause the money was deducted using POS, she was told at the office they can’t do anything until UBA sends a mail to them, getting back to the bank, they told her to wait until their headquarters sends them a mail at UBA IDI APE BRANCH IBADAN.
