“. . . enjoy the pleasure of sin for a season.”
Hebrews 11:25.
Few minutes to the reception on his wedding day, the groom FJ visited the convenience. On his way out, he was intersected by a lady, and by reflex, said “WOW!!!”
He seemed not to have seen such a “goddess” before. He also seemed to have forgotten his mission in the building.
“Please, your number,” FJ said as he gave his phone to the stranger.
Right from the first day of his marriage, FJ got distracted.
Like the man on a running horse whose hand couldn’t catch the rein, his emotion was running to his ruin.
Three – quarter of his brain has been shut down by this possessive sexual urge.
He felt he had to “release” before he could be at ease, but after he did release, he suddenly realized!
He realized like Samson that he had just slept with his enemy. It is only in marriage you could have sex with your friend. Sex outside of marriage is always with your enemy or potential enemy.
He realized like Jacob that he had to pay seven years salaries for a product he didn’t want to buy.
He realized like David that he had to subscribe to a higher crime like murder, to minimize the effects of adultery.
He realized what any fornicator or adulterer will sooner or later realize;
- He just traded away his security against STDs — Sexually transmitted diseases.
- He has just made a deposit in the savings account of shame and regrets.
- He has just ejaculated a portion of his freedom, confidence and self esteem.
- He had just sown a seed of distrust and disrespect right in the centre of his marriage.
- A stranger has seen his “PIN” and his account is no longer secured.
- He just sent an invite to “Ishmael”, and his marriage might suffer from his smell.
- His “mail box” is forever opened to blackmails.
- He has come to the same level with the fellow, and whatever follows her follows him.
- The bit he did might turn a habit and eventually become his habitation.
- His “private car” is now public, and the implication is obvious.
“When a man begins to lust, he’s about getting lost.
