As the re-election is set to be held this Saturday, January 25, 2020 in some states in the country, the acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu on Wednesday during an official visit to EFCC, Ibadan zonal office said the anti-graft agency will arrest vote buyers or anybody with over N25000.
Speaking with journalists during the visit, he said: “This week precisely on Saturday is re-run elections in some states in the country. You are part of it and we are going to fight against vote buying.
“I want you to join us on that day so that we can expose the vote buyers and collect their money. Make sure when you’re coming, you don’t carry more than N25,000 because we will arrest people with unusual amount of money”, Magu tells journalists.
