•Family hunts monarch’s secret business partner

There is a raging storm being managed by the family of late influential monarch, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi , Iku Baba Yeye and the Alaafin of Oyo who died some months ago.
Preceding his 84th post humous birthday celebration, sources disclosed that the monarch, a wealthy man while alive didn’t leave a will till the moment he passed on, hereby causing a minor crisis within the ranks of his many children and wives.
It was stated that the late monarch’s first child, a lawyer was saddled with the role of managing the issue and he has been doing it with good results.
It is noted that some fraudulent acts which were allegedly perpetrated at the palace during the time the Kabiyesi was alive was discovered.
The misconduct was traced to the daily needs, feeding and school fees of the children of the young wives of the traditional ruler when he was alive.
The monarch was said to have indirectly rewarded many of the younger wives and prepared them for a good life after his departure with house gifts and land properties, and that he also compelled those that would be in charge to ensure all his children were well treated.
The family is said to have been tracing all the monarch’s investment and that the issue of a secret business partner of the late Alaafin came up.
The influential king who is blessed with entrepreneurship skills was said to have had a business partner, a younger man who handles his investments without the knowledge of many.
The family is said to be hell bent on reaching the unknown businessman to determine what he holds in trust for their late father.
The issue is said to have heightened some nerves within the family but the elder children were managing it well as they want to prevent a scandal that could affect the image and values their late father left behind.
The Alaafin who was 83 at the time of his death died after a brief illness at the Afe Babalola Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti.
