The Ukrainian authorities have released the latest figures from the Russia-Ukraine war which reveal the losses encountered by the Russian military across Ukraine.
The above figures are indicative estimates of Russia’s combat losses as of September 15, 2022, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The figures show that Russia has lost 53,850 troops, 2,193 tanks, 4,682 Armoured Personnel Vehicles, 1,295 artillery units, 311 MLRS, 167 anti-aircraft warfare, 250 planes, 215 helicopters, 15 boats/ cutters, 908 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, 120 special equipment, 233 cruise missiles, 3,522 vehicles and fuel tanks.
Russia’s military has also sustained significant losses in Ukraine following the artillery bombardment carried out by the Ukrainian forces using long-range heavy weapons supplied by the United States of America and other Western countries in Europe.
Ukraine’s latest achievement was the recapturing of key territories from the Russian military troops and the Ukrainian President identified as Volodymyr Zelenskyy was present at the recaptured towns to praise the soldiers for their efforts amid the Russian military growing assault.
