There was mammoth crowd on Tuesday when leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State gathered at the state secretariat of the party for the official declaration of Senator Teslim Folarin to run for governor in 2023.
Also at the gathering, the lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Dr. Kola Balogun, officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Senator Folarin, representing Oyo Central district in the upper chamber of the National Assembly said the pacesetter state cannot continue in such a state of anarchy and total break down of law and order .

Speaking, the elated party chairman, said he was happy that the APC is waxing stronger and better on daily basis.
”Yes we have misunderstanding within ourselves in APC but we have resolved all the issues and there is no more crisis. We are united and by the grace of God we are returning to Agodi Government House in 2023.
“I have tried. We now have the three Senators in Oyo State in our fold. On behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari and the national leadership of the party, I welcome Senator Balogun into APC,” Omodewu said.
