SERAP Threatens Lawsuit Against Minster for Work and Housing, Raji Fashola Over His Decision To Reintroduce Toll Gates |PoliFocus
The Socio-Economic Rights & Accountability Project, SERAP has threatened the Minister for Works, Raji Fashola for Federal Government decision to reintroduce Toll Gates on Federal roads.
Meanwhile, since the break of the news, Nigerians have been dragging the federal government over its decision to further exploit Nigerians.
Meanwhile, SERAP has specifically called on the minister to drop the idea or face a legal action.
“We urge you to drop the idea of bringing back tollgates on fed. highways UNTIL the authorities can guarantee citizens’ fundamental right to good & properly maintained roads which are free of potholes & ditches. We’ll see you in court if you go ahead with this.” SERAP warned.
