Barr Sharafadeen Alli, the 2023 All Progressive Congress (APC) Oyo South Senatorial seat candidate has commiserated with Ibarapas on the sad event of loss of lives at Igangan on Tuesday February 31, 2023. He prayed that God Almighty will bring succour to the families touched by the tragedy and comfort the residents of Ibarapa as a whole.
Barr Sharafadeen Alli thereafter announced a suspension of all his campaign activities because of the said tragedy and the pains (sufferings) of Nigerians occasioned by the fuel and currency crisis. “I want to express my most profound sadness at the the news of the mayhem and the accompanying loss of lives in Igangan on Tuesday and I stand with every resident of Igangan at this sad and trying time. May God Almighty, whose love and comfort alone can assuage the deepest sorrows wrap your town and by extension the entire Ibarapaland in his loving arms of protection. May such occurrence never happen again”.
